All applicants 50 years or older must have a suitable exit strategy, where a loan term is greater than 30 years exit strategy to be provided at age 45 years old with the following criteria applicable:
- For owner occupied properties, assume a retirement age of 70 years for earned income.
- Exit strategies need to be applicable from the planned or assumed age of retirement.
- Borrower age must not exceed 90 years at the expiry of the loan if owner-occupied.
